A family favorite! The Isla Cozumel Day Pass Highlights Tour is a complete experience of Mexico's largest island aboard an open air safari style truck. You'll see and enjoy the best that Cozumel has to offer including breath-taking views while touring the entire island.
We'll arrive at Punta Sur, Cozumel ecological reserve where you'll be able to snorkel among tropical fish and colorful coral. Afterwards enjoy a freshly preparred authetic Mexican lunch buffet and relax with plenty of time to swim on one of Mexico's most outstanding beaches with comfy hammocks and other amenities. As we continue on the Safari truck our guide gives you general inormation about this incredible reserve where you can climb a working lighthouse with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and explore its quaint museum at the base. Then visit "El Caracol", a Mayan ruin that was the island's original lighthouse. See wading birds and crocodiles in thier natural habitat from the safety of an observation deck.
On our way back towards Historic Downtown Cozumel you'll have the beautiful views of the island's east coast. Once downtown you'll have free time for shopping or walking the "Malecon" (the waterfront boulevard), or maybe even a Tequila tasting. At the end of the day, we'll board the ferry that will take us back to Playa del Carmen where our vans will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
A total of nine highlights and activities make this an unforgettable tour for the entire family.

Cozumel is world famous for its underwater beauty. After a quick introduction on how to snorkel the ocean is all yours. See up-close the clearest water teaming with tropical fish, sea fans, color and sea turtles. While snorkeling is included in your Highlights Tour this is an optional activity, but if you can swim, we definitely advise you t try it.
A freshly prepared authentic Mexican buffet, bottles water and sodas, beer
Punta Celarain is a working lighthouse where you can climb to the top and see Colombia Lagoon. If you're not up to the climb, you can visit the small nautical museum at the base of the lighthouse.
Now it's time to visit the ancient Mayan lighthouse, El Caracol. A few steps away
Enjoy the fantastic scenery of the island's east coast where the waves crash onto the rocks and blow holes spout water into the air.
Learn about the Tequila making process, its history and enjoy free samplings, Or, you can choose to do a little shopping in Cozumel's Historic Downtown.
In case you decided to enjoy a walk through the streets of San Miguel (downtown Cozumel), now is the time to regroup at the pier.
Relax and enjoy the 45 minute ferry ride to take you back to Playa del Carmen.
Relax in the air conditioned van on your way back to your hotel.

This activity is not available for pregnant women, persons with recent surgeries, persons with back or neck injuries. Non swimmers are not allowed to snorkel.

Complimentary pickup and drop-off transportation is included in this tour. We offer a courtesy shuttle in the mainland and taxi service for those with hotels in Cozumel.
Our courtesy shuttle-van service is available from Cancun, throughout the Riviera Maya and Tulum. We offer pickup/drop-off from/to your hotel's motor lobby or main entrance. The pickup time will be specified on your voucher confirmation. You can see aproximate pick up times from our hotel list (don't worry if your hotel is not listed). You will be dropped off at the Playa del Carmen ferry pier to meet your tour guide before boarding the ferry.
If your hotel in Playa del Carmen is within walking distance of the ferry pier, you can go directly to the Check-In point (Señor Frogs Restaurant) located next to the ferry pier.
Along with your tour guide, you will board the ferry for a 40 minute cruise to Cozumel.
From your hotel in Cozumel, take a taxi to the ferry pier located in Historic Downtown Cozumel. Here you will meet up with your tour guide arriving from Playa del Carmen. The meeting point is the Swallow Birds Monument in front of the ferry pier. Your tour guide wil reimburse you for the taxi fare from/to your hotel. Together you will board the safari truck and start your adventure in Cozumel.
If your hotel in Cozumel is within walking distance of the ferry pier, you can go directly to the Check-In point (Swallow Birds Monument) located at the entrance to the ferry pier.
